In addition to Dena, we are lucky to have Mark Tennant with us as well as our unbeatable team of Maggie Jeans, Nicole Bradbury-Becx, Claudia Junge and Astrid Brüggemann in Oman, the Minister of Tourism Ahmed Bin Nasser Al Mehrezi, General Abdi Al Shahwarzi of the Royal Cavalry, Saif Al Rawahi of Oman on Horseback. Special thanks go to Bruno Schroder and Jamie Grant.
Mark is Senior Advisor to JP Morgan and runs a large estate north of the border with ease and grace when he isn't piping or traveling the world. Ex-Convenor of the Northern Meeting, Mark originally co-founded these gatherings with Dena in Vienna.
Dena is an international event organiser, author and fellow piper who has been the heart and soul of these gatherings since their inception in 2006. The buck stops here but luckily she has learned to roll with the punches. American by birth, polyglot by nature, this is her seventh event. www.andrenawoodhams.com
Maggie, who recently received an OBE for her services to Omani-British relations, is an Omani based British business woman. Maggie knows everyone in Oman and serves as liaison and guide to get us to many places tourists simply can't reach.
